The Bears have followed up a lackluster weekend with one where they grabbed three wins and all six available points in the standings. It started with a Friday night win at home over Adirondack. Saturday brought Albany to town and another win. Then both teams traveled to Albany for the back end of the home-and-home series where the Bears picked up the final win of the weekend.

Tonight the Bears will be looking to avenge the losses in St. John’s by welcoming the Ice Caps to the Giant Center for the first time. It’s also Hersheypark pass night, so be prepared for a big crowd even though it is a Wednesday game. You can check out the pre-game from Tim Leone.

With Braden Holtby on recall to the Caps, the Bears have signed goaltender Matt Tendler to an amateur tryout agreement. [Bears]

Over the weekend the Bears had also signed goaltender Billy Sauer to a professional tryout agreement. He was released and returned to the South Carolina Stingrays on Monday. [Bears]

Rumors on the Old Barn Hockey Show of seeing Scott Stuccio in net for the Bears practice this week. Of course there is also the normal Bears and NHL talk. Part 3 features an interview with Christian Hanson. It also sounds like Frank and Brock will be joining us for the viewing party next week. Will you be there? [OBHS]

You may not know Terry Moore, but chances are you have heard the chants that are the result of some of his work in section 101. [LDN]

March is proving to be a good month for the Bears so far. The PK unit has been exceptional. [PennLive]

Keith Aucoin is earning his keep with the Caps. [Sick, Unbelievable]

Looking ahead to the rest of the regular season and what it means for the playoffs. [HBHB]
