Bears Send Mathieu Beaudoin to Rockford in Exchange For Peter LeBlanc

Approximately 90 minutes after the Hershey Bears said “good bye” to Zach Hamill and “hello” to Casey Wellman, yet another personnel change has been announced in the Washington/Hershey organization.

Mathieu Beaudoin of Hershey has been traded to the Rockford Ice Hogs’ organization under an AHL contract. In return, the Bears have received center Peter LeBlanc.

LeBlanc was recently teammates with Ryan Potulny and Jeff Taffe during the 2010-11 campaign with the Rockford Ice Hogs. He enters Hershey with four goals and 12 points in 34 games this season in Rockford. During the 2011-12 season, LeBlanc tallied a career best 24 goals in 72 games.

He was drafted 186 overall in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft. Following the deal, it was announced LeBlanc is to report immediately to Hershey.
