“Mark still holds the AHL’s record for being the fastest coach to achieve 100 wins,” said Medvescak GM Aaron Fox. “He’s going to bring a winning pedigree to Zagreb and he’s extremely happy to be able to help Medveš?ak become a successful KHL team.”

Medvescak is one of Croatia’s top hockey teams and this is their first season in the KHL. They have won the Croatian Ice Hockey Championship every year since 1995, excluding 1996 and 2008. These Bears play in an arena that holds crowds close to NHL size.
