Jakub Vrana Out 3-4 Months with Wrist Injury

The Washington Capitals announced Wednesday afternoon that Bears forward Jakub Vrana underwent wrist surgery this morning and will be out for the next three to four months. The following is the press release from the Capitals.

ARLINGTON, VA. – Washington Capitals prospect Jakub Vrana underwent a successful surgery on his wrist this morning. Based on the nature of this procedure, we anticipate Jakub returning to full hockey activities in 3-4 months. Jakub will resume full workout activities in approximately three weeks.

Vrana has played in only 19 games for the Bears, nine regular season, with six of them coming this year. Vrana has averaged a point per game this season with two goals and four assists in the six games.
