Hershey Bears Announce First Two Conference Finals Home Game Dates

Monday night the Hershey Bears will find out their opponent in the Eastern Conference Finals, but we do know the first two dates for the Bears first appearance in the Eastern Conference Finals since 2010.

The Bears will face the Albany Devils or Toronto Marlies at Giant Center Friday, May 20, and Saturday, May 21. Whether that means those dates will be games one, two, three, or four remains to be seen as the full schedule should be released after tonight’s game seven between Albany and Toronto.

This schedule should be an interesting one as Giant Center has their usual spring problem of having the circus in town during the Eastern Conference Finals. As Bears fans know very well, with this being Hershey’s fifth conference finals appearance in ten years, end of May means circus time and weird playoff schedule’s in Hershey. No matter what, the Bears will not be able to play at home between May 22 and May 30.

Again, game seven is tonight in Toronto between the Devils and Marlies to decide the second half of the 2016 Calder Cup Eastern Conference Final match-up.
