Garrett Mitchell dunked by his daughter Tuesday night in Hummelstown

It’s not always about hockey in Chocolate Town, and tonight was another example of how the Hershey Bears help out the surrounding community.

Bears Captain Garrett Mitchell was a part of the Fuzzy Few Organization (FFO) Carnival tonight in Hummelstown as part of the LDHS Cheerleaders dunk tank. For an hour, patrons took turns trying to dunk the captain.

One of the people taking a few throws to dunk Mitchell was his head Coach Troy Mann.

The FFO Carnival helps to build funds for various community activities and youth programs. Their mission statements reads: “Community, Youth, and Good Will”.

This year, the FFO has about 190 children participating in their football and cheerleading program. The cost to sign up for this program: $0. The money that the FFO raises throughout the year and at the carnival, helps to keep this program running.
